The Rocket Historian provides an extremely efficient means to store and retrieve both periodic and exception data. Plot and analyze historical data from your database at any time.

Rocket Historian has addressed the two most complex problems associated with data logging in many industries:

• Multiple time zones
• Daylight savings time

Your systems can monitor field data from a large range of devices scattered in different time zones. The Rocket Historian ensures a consistent view of data by storing the field time stamp, local time stamp and UTC timestamp. Each time stamp has a 100 nanosecond time resolution. This level of resolution has opened the door to new ways of looking at the data that was never possible before.
Data can be stored periodically or on event. This guarantees no loss of data and exceptional performance when generating large and complex analysis reports.

High Performance

A Rocket Historian can monitor and log thousands of facilities on a single computer. A dedicated Rocket Historian system can log over 20,000 events per second. While logging massive amount of data, it can provide historical data in seconds to several users simultaneously.

Alternatively, as part of a Monitoring and Control solution, you can log thousands of points every second on a standard desktop computer or on our compact embedded PC.
