The Rocket SCADA Management System provides features that are typically found only in large systems at a large price. The Rocket is built on a modular system of
components, the core of which is a high performance event engine capable of continuously processing thousands of events every second while running on a standard desktop PC. This event engine is complemented with a host of other standard and optional components such as Real-time Data Viewer, Real-time Trending, Historical Data Logging, Historical Trending, a Communication Server, Data Simulation, an Automation Engine, MODBUS Master & Slave functionality, OPC Client & Server, grid-based Configuration GUI, and a fully graphical Human Machine Interface.

- Powerful Automation Engine The Automation Engine function block interface makes it easy to develop sophisticated automation programs, while scheduled and event driven processing provides ultimate flexibility for program execution.
- Event Driven Architecture Event Data Collection and Processing architecture means efficient use of processing power to get the most from your hardware platform. Event based architecture means no data is lost or missed due to changes occurring between scans. This makes it ideal for use in scenarios such as the Power Utility industry where data loss is not acceptable.
- Sequence of Events Recording Record analog and digital value and quality change events with microsecond timestamp resolution as they occur. SOE data is recorded by the high performance Native Historian supporting event through-put up to 10,000 events per second, assuring accurate and complete event records. Use Rocket Log Viewer with its outstanding data filtering capability to drill down through all that data to find the information you need.
- Microsecond Timestamp Resolution All data entering the system is time-stamped with microsecond resolution. Separate timestamps are kept for the field timestamp provided by the end device as well as the time when the data entered the system. When an event is logged, these timestamps are recorded along with the time at which the event was recorded. This gives you complete information and maximum versatility when searching the SOE logs.
- Online Editing Making configuration changes without shutting the system down to apply the changes provides a convenient way to fine tune your system without incurring downtime. Many properties can be changed and applied while the system is operational, maximizing system uptime and minimizing the impact of maintenance activities.
- Communication Protocols Interface to your RTUs, IEDs, protection devices, sensors, other field devices and master stations with Rocket's suite of communication protocols. For connecting devices with obscure protocols, the Rocket provides OPC connectivity that enables selection of the appropriate communication driver from a wide range of OPC-based solutions.
