For gas wells, MRCSI has taken a leadership role in developing standardized packages which include programs for RTUs and PLCs along with HMI templates for gas wells, compressors and gas plant process. Using these standardized 'products', we have dramatically reduced the cost of Well Head SCADA development and pass those savings on to you.

Examples of gas well templates we have developed:

Standard Options:

Each of the above templates has a number of options available. If the options are not used, the related elements do not appear on the HMI display for that well. These options include:

Well Optimization

MRCSI has designed and built gas well production optimization routines for our customers including:

• Traditional plunger lift
• Timer controls (liquid self clearing)

Where it is a good match for reservoir characteristics, we've had great success with the timer controls approach. Either after a specified time, or when flow drops below a set point, the well is shut-in for a specified period of time to allow the gas pressure to build up. When the valve is opened again, the gas pressure moves the liquids to the surface, resuming production.

Either of these production optimization routines is available on a variety of RTUs including ROCs, Bristol RTUs and SCADA Packs.
